Unit 3: Printing Your Design
Before your Cricut can cut, you’ll need to load your material onto the cutting mat.
Place your sheet of vinyl on the StandardGrip (green) cutting mat with the vinyl side facing up.
Use a scraper tool or your hand to smooth the vinyl, making sure it sticks flat and without bubbles.
Align the mat against the guides on your Cricut machine.
Press the Load/Unload button. The machine will pull the mat into position.
When the Go button flashes, your machine is ready to start cutting!
Pro Tip: Always make sure your blade is clean and sharp for the best results.
