Unit 4: Applying Your Sticker
Before you can place your vinyl sticker on a surface, you’ll need to use transfer tape. This tool helps you move your design from the vinyl backing to its final location.
Cut a piece of transfer tap slightly larger than your design.
Peel the backing from the transfer tape.
Carefully place the sticky side of the transfer tape on top of your weeded design.
Use a scraper tool or credit card to press firmly across the entire design. This ensures the vinyl sticks to the transfer paper.
Slowly peel away the transfer paper backing. Your vinyl design should now be attached to the transfer sheet.
Your sticker is now ready to be placed exactly where you want it!
Pro Tip: Smooth, even pressure prevents air bubbles and ensures all parts of the design stick to the transfer paper.
